Purpose#

ToolVibe publishes free online tools together with clear, accurate information about how they work. This Editorial Policy explains how that content is created, reviewed, and maintained, so you can judge how much to rely on it. You can read more about ToolVibe and the people behind the platform.

What we publish#

We publish two main types of content: tool pages, which describe what a tool does, how to use it, and any real limits; and supporting guides, which answer common questions with practical, tested workflows. Everything we publish is intended to be useful and truthful, and to reflect what the software actually does.

How content is created#

Tool pages are written alongside the tools themselves, based on the implemented behaviour — the real input options, processing method, and limits. Guides are written to answer genuine user questions, using original examples rather than copied text. Where a tool has a limitation, we describe it rather than hide it.

Technical accuracy#

We aim for technical accuracy above all. Claims about file sizes, supported formats, whether processing happens in the browser or on the server, and similar details are based on the actual implementation and are updated when that implementation changes.

Content review#

Content is reviewed by the developer before publication to check that it matches the tool's real behaviour and is free of obvious errors. This is a lightweight review carried out by a small team — we do not claim a large editorial department or an independent expert committee.

Tool documentation#

Each published tool includes documentation covering what it does, how to use it, supported formats and limits, and, where relevant, privacy notes. This documentation is treated as part of the product and is kept up to date with the tool.

Sources and references#

Where content draws on external standards or facts, we aim to describe them accurately and in plain language. We do not invent statistics, ratings, reviews, or endorsements, and we do not present unverifiable claims as fact.

AI-assisted drafting#

AI tools may be used to help draft or refine wording. When they are, a person reviews the result for accuracy, clarity, and originality before it is published. AI is used as an aid to writing, not as an unattended publisher. See our AI Disclosure page for details.

Corrections and updates#

Content is reviewed and updated when a tool changes or when an error is found. If you spot a mistake, please tell us and we will review and correct it. Pages show a "last updated" date so you can see how current they are.

Conflicts of interest#

ToolVibe is built and maintained by its developer. We do not publish paid reviews or fake endorsements, and we do not accept payment in exchange for favourable coverage of third-party products.

Advertising#

ToolVibe is supported by advertising. Advertising is kept separate from editorial content, and the presence of an advertisement is not an endorsement of the advertised product.

User feedback#

Feedback from users directly shapes what we build and how we explain it. Suggestions, corrections, and bug reports are all welcome.

Reporting inaccurate information#

If you find something on ToolVibe that is inaccurate, misleading, or out of date, please contact us with as much detail as possible so we can investigate and correct it.
